artzeroes: First theme ever: la moustache

So as we first told you in the beginning of this blog, we'll be throwing each other theme battles,you've seen dance battles,rap battles,food battles,penis battles..this is a theme battle,we come up with a theme,this week being the mustache,we have one week to make a piece of art around that theme..(very simple, stupid and second gradeish show and tell type of thing)

So may we remind you what a mustache is?for those of you who live in Sweden and have never come across a facial hair..

A moustache (American English: mustache;pronounced /məˈstɑːʃ/ in RP and /ˈmʌstæʃ/ in General American) is facial hair grown above the upper lip. It may or may not be accompanied by a beard, hair around the entire face.

The word "moustache" derives from 16th century French moustache, which in turn is derived from the Italian mostaccio (14th century), dialectal mustaccio (16th century), from Medieval Latin mustacium (8th century), Medieval Greek moustakion (attested in the 9th century), which ultimately originates as a diminutive of Hellenistic Greek mustax (mustak-) "moustache", probably derived from Hellenistic Greekmullon "lip".

The moustache forms its own stage in the development of facial in adolescent males. Facial hair in males normally appears in a specific order during puberty:

The first facial hair to appear tends to grow at the corners of the upper lip(age 11-15),
It then spreads to form a moustache over the entire upper lip(age 16-17),
This is followed by the appearance of hair on the upper part of the cheeks, and the area under the lower lip(age 16-18),
It eventually spreads to the sides and lower border of the chin, and the rest of the lower face to form a full beard(age 17-21).
