Barbara Kruger finishes rotunda at Schirn in Frankfurt

Barbara Kruger just finished a massive installation at the Schirn in Frankfurt, Germany. Kruger will have her work on display at the Schirn through January 30, 2011.
One of the phrases visitors will find when they enter the rotunda is: GEWALT LÄSST UNS VERGESSEN, WER WIR SIND. (IN VIOLENCE WE FORGET WHO WE ARE.)

This isn't the first time Kruger has shown at Schirn. For
Shopping. A Century of Art and Consumer Culture in 2002, Kruger covered the façade of the Galeria Kaufhof in Frankfurt, Germany’s shopping mile and major pedestrian crossing.

Barbara's an American conceptual artist. Much of her work consists of black and white photographs overlaid with declarative captions—in white-on-red Futura Bold Oblique. The phrases in her works often include use of pronouns such as "you", "your", "I", "we", and "they".
some of her earlier works I've picked up online to show you..
